I named this series "Normal Saline". Inspired by the doctors because in the most of the incidents, the first thing that they do to a patient is to give him normal saline.
The previous days my grandpa was in the hospital, so I had the chance to spend a lot of time with him and the daily life at the hospital. Spending hours at the 4th floor observing what happening around I understood once more how important job is to be a doctor or a nurse and how much you can help other people. Me, as a photographer the only thing that I could do for my grandpa was to give him my love... Mine normal saline.
The same characteristic that all fighters have, are love for life.

Dedicated to my grandfather. Dedicated to the man who taugh me what love is and how to love somenone.
Special thanks to the uncles and cousins, my family's doctors for their help and interest. I know that they are stand by any time.

Time for lunch. I think that one of the moments in daily life where we can feel lonlyness, is when we have meal and we are alone.
The public hospitals even if we are in crisis for 7 years now, they do the best that they can and for the quality of patiens food of course.
Probably he wishes to be at his balcony at the moment.

    "Normal Saline"
    Intravenous infusion.
Too many things to remember... How many things to hope?! When you are 93 years and you are lying down on bed in a hospital. I feel that he still has his motives for life

When I was a kid my grandmother and my grandfather used to take care me a lot. Now it's our turn. My cousine Christos is learner cardiologist and it's his turn to take care his grandpa... The old man who is on the bed. Mr. Christos has grate sense of hummor. He has same age with my grandpa and they are friends since they were kids.
Even if the little money that their salary is and the very bad circumstances that the doctors and nurses have, most of them they do their job pretty well. They fight with any mean that they have. True heroes. The same time that the goverments recruite policemen, the majority of the public hospitals have fewer staff than needed to run properly.
Your inside world life story in some papers...
A portrait of my grandpa capturing the moment when his lovely cardiologist announced him that he can takes the discharge note from the hospital and go back to his home.
A few minutes before I made him a prank. I told him that he has to stay a couple of days more. My old man was almost completely disappointed. The doctor at first was surprised but quickly understood my motives and she didn't say anything, just making some signs with her head showing to my pap's that his grandson was right!
Finally, while we were leaving from the hospital, my grandfather, replied to the prank I did to him. He approaches the doctor with sneaky way and told her with style, that his grandson is a very good guy and unmarried to...!
He paid me back with my own coin...!hahaha
I know that he hates hospitals and he knows that I hate matchmakings!
The score 1-1 final!
Cheers 🍻⚽
93 years of history and we keep on going!
Love you pap's!
    Turn right grandpa!!
