LESVOS

One of the main greek islands that received the greatest influx of migrants and refugees from the coasts of Turkey. From July 2015 to January 2016 it is estimated
that on the island’s shores arrived approximately 445,000 people from Syria,
Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and Pakistan. There were days when up to 3,000 people arrived on the island, in search for a safer country, with the hope of a better life.
